Health

  • You can sign in to the Admin Console as an administrator. Other roles can read the last results but cannot run checks or fixes.

Open Health and select Run checks. The checks take up to a minute, because Locai One asks the AI model a one-word test question.

Each check shows a green tick when it passed, an amber warning when something needs attention soon, and a red cross when something is broken. Select Details to see the measurement behind a result, for example the free space on each disk.

  • Operating system: disk space, memory and any app stopped because memory ran out, the clock, the Locai OS version and its last update, Secure Boot and the security chip (TPM), the licence, and the HTTPS certificate.
  • Hardware: whether every GPU is working, GPU temperature and memory errors, GPU errors in the last 24 hours, and disk health.
  • Network: the office network connection and its speed, internet name lookups (DNS), the .local name, HTTPS access, Locai Factory, and remote access when it is set up.
  • Services: the Admin Console and API, the database, file storage, background services, documentation, monitoring, and any service that keeps restarting. A stopped monitoring service is a warning, because chat still works without it.
  • AI model: each loaded model, why it failed to load if it did, and how long a test answer takes.

Some checks offer a button. Restart restarts that service, Reload model restarts the AI model, and Resync clock restarts time sync. Confirm, wait for the service to come back, then select Run checks again. Reloading the model stops chat for a few minutes.

Other problems link to the page where you fix them, for example Storage for a full disk or Updates for a failed update.

If a check still fails, select Download report and send the file to Locai when you get support. The report includes the technical evidence behind each check, which the Health tab does not show. It stays on your computer until you send it.
