Prerequisites

• You are on the same office network as Locai One. Guest Wi-Fi, a phone hotspot, and a VPN usually cannot reach it.
• You have your email and the enrolment code from an administrator.
• A local account needs an authenticator app for the six-digit code. A Microsoft account uses Microsoft’s own sign-in.

Download the Locai App

1. Download the Locai App. Install Locai and open it.
2. Choose Locai OS under On this network, or type locai-<id>.local. Select Scan again if the list is empty.
3. Select Have an enrolment code? Enter the code and set a password.
4. Sign in with your email. If your organisation uses Microsoft Entra ID, choose Continue with Microsoft Entra ID, finish in the browser, and return to the app. Locai does not ask for another code. Otherwise enter your password and the six-digit code from your authenticator app. Write down the recovery codes when they are shown. They are shown only once.

If sign-in fails, ask an administrator. Open Settings → Connection if the app shows that the connection was lost, or to use another Locai OS.
