Chat

Replies are generated on Locai OS on Locai One. Check them before you rely on them.

Prerequisites

Section titled “Prerequisites”
  • You are signed in to the Locai App. See Sign in.
  • An administrator has loaded a model. If the model list is empty, ask them to load one.
  1. Select New chat. Type a message, or attach a file with the paperclip or by dragging it in. Send.
  2. Choose a model that is loaded.
  3. Leave Think off for a direct reply. Turn it on when you want the model to reason first. The app shows Thinking… while that runs.

While a reply is running, the header shows what the assistant is doing. Finished steps stay in the thread. That is expected when Connections or Skills are in use.

Incognito keeps that chat in memory only. It is not saved in Recent chats. Turn Incognito off when you need a thread you can open again.

Recent chats lists earlier threads. Files lists attachments and anything the assistant exported. Treat them as organisation data.

If chat fails or the model list is empty, ask an administrator.
