Playground

Playground sends a completion through this Locai OS using your signed-in administrator session. You do not need a Locai API key.

Prerequisites

Section titled “Prerequisites”
  • You can sign in to the Admin Console.
  • A model is loaded. If the model list is empty, Load a model first.
  1. Open Playground.
  2. Choose a Model. The list shows loaded models. If a row says it is still loading, wait until Send is available.
  3. Type a User message. System prompt, Temperature, Max tokens, Thinking, and Streaming are optional.
  4. Select Send. The reply appears under Response.

cURL, Python, Anthropic, and JavaScript show the same request for a client. To call the Locai API from other software, create a Locai API key and see Call the Locai API.

The Locai App has Playground on the Locai API side. That page uses a Locai API key.
