Admin Console overview

These guides are for people who administer a Locai One appliance. Everyone else uses the Locai App; this section is the Admin Console in the browser.

The same topics are also in the console under Docs, so they still work on the office network if this site is unreachable.

Troubleshooting Common failures and what to check
  • Office network first. The console is always available on your network via the mDNS name. Public access is off until you opt in.
  • On-appliance identity. Admins and users sign in with accounts that live on this box, plus an authenticator app.
  • API without the Locai App. Developers can create an API key in this console (or in the Locai App) and call the OpenAI- or Anthropic-compatible API directly.
